Right now I’m in the Adirondacks enjoying a moment of solitude and joy.
It’s been wonderful, as I’ve been feeling bogged down from not feeling up to par, and just feeling that I wasn’t quite understanding others and they weren’t understanding me. Maybe a little of both. To get away and get your perspective back is a wonderful thing. Yeats, the Irish poet had a wonderful line in his poem “The Isle of Innisfree” He states he will go to the isle because “peace comes dripping slow”. My peace is coming back. I am grateful. I took to the mountains, and walked through the woods. I felt the majestic beauty of the Adirondacks. I relished a bubbling brook, and enjoyed the white pines against the background of the snow. And I’m very happy that I can do all this. Feeling better. Life is good. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. I hope that you can enjoy the moment as well.
Thank you, Laurette- looking forward to seeing you and Ian in 2019! Happy New Year, healthy joyous New Year to you and Ian and family! Love, Carol Carol Schupp Star
