After attending a program today that stirred my soul for change, I went to Moreau Lake for the annual retrieval for one of my kayaks that I keep tied up there for the season. As I usually do, I took a little “spin” around the lake. One last time to enjoy the water, at least with that kayak. The colors were beautiful, reflected in the water. I always feel a little sad that it’s the last time, but enjoy the feeling of cherishing the moment. It is bittersweet, but wonderful. I relished the palette of colors on a crisp October day.
Thanks for reminding us to “cherish the moment” as the seasons turn, turn, turn.
