This past weekend, I went to Vermont. Just the drive there is beautiful, and always puts me in a different state of mind. The leaves had just begun to turn. Some were golden, some were reddish scarlet, and some were still green. Yet, the contrast was stunning. My anticipation is heightened by the excitement of seeing my family there- my son, daughter-in-law, and my grandson. As I drove, I thought of a poem I have written recently “the brilliant azure sky weeps scarlet leaves” “Yet I anticipate the beauty of the season and relish these golden days”. Yes.
